Any energy projects that you are involved in in the region currently that you are particularly excited about at the moment?
As a major player in the power solutions sector, Jubaili Bros always has many ongoing projects at different levels and magnitudes. All projects, whether individual-level power plants, community-serving power plants or industrial projects get the same attention and dedication.
What in your view are the challenges to the energy sector in Nigeria and the region?
The main challenge in the power sector in Nigeria, as seen by many, is the sourcing of funds to build, expand and develop the sector.
How optimistic are you about business opportunities in Nigeria’s energy future?
Nigeria’s power sector has always proven to be a resilient and surviving sector. It has in the past and will always catch up to the international norms. Nigeria’s energy future is brighter than many would think.
What is your vision for the energy sector in the region?
At Jubaili Bros, we feel that the drive towards renewable energy is the way to the future, but it does not and should not clash with more traditional power sources. We see that the best way forward is combining all power sources for better results.
