Dear Mini-Grids Partnership member,

We want to hear your insights on the mini-grid sector.

As a valued member of the Mini-Grids Partnership (MGP), we would appreciate your participation in a survey for the upcoming ‘State of the Global Mini-Grids Market’ Report.

During the MGP meeting in May 2018, the lack of market intelligence, sector knowledge, and data on mini-grids, especially compared to other segments of the off-grid energy industry (pico & solar home systems) was identified as a key barrier in the sector.

To address this, MGP has started researching to produce an authoritative, insightful, and up-to-date market intelligence report on the sector, including key trends in the market and industry. The final report, to be released in May 2020, aims to become the go-to source of information for investors, industry members, policymakers, and other stakeholders in the sector.

With the report we also hope to develop a publicly available mini-grid assets database. This survey is part of our data collection step about the geography and capacity of current mini grids portfolios.
