The African Development Bank Group is organizing  the sixth edition of the Africa Energy Market Place (AEMP), focused on Djibouti, Eritrea and Ethiopia. The theme of the event is Delivering Desert to Power in the Horn of Africa - Enhancing Regional Power Trade.

The AEMP aims to bring together governments, the private sector and development partners to highlight and discuss strategic projects, whilst advancing priority energy sector reforms in the three countries.

There will be three plenary sessions to open and close the event, as well as a cross-country slot which will highlight some challenges and opportunities in the three countries in one session. There will be a total of 10 country roundtable discussions made up of:

  • 3 country roundtables for Djibouti
  • 3 country roundtables for Eritrea
  • 4 country roundtables for Ethiopia
